1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FindCourse.io (the "Platform"), you enter into a legally binding agreement with SEAES ("we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in India. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including all content, features, and services offered through it.

Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of these Terms, including any updates published at this URL.

2. Description of Service

FindCourse.io is an AI-powered university matching platform that helps students identify universities and programs abroad based on their academic profile, budget, and career goals. The Platform provides:

• AI-generated university recommendations
• Country and program guides
• Visa and scholarship information
• Connection to education counsellors

All information on the Platform is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional legal, immigration, or financial advice.

3. Eligibility

Under the Indian Contract Act 1872 (Section 11), a valid contract requires parties to be competent to contract. Accordingly:

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform independently.
• If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

4. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration and throughout your use
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at info@findcourse.io

We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to maintain account security.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable Indian law, including the IT Act 2000, the DPDPA 2023, and the Consumer Protection Act 2019
• Commit offences under Section 66 of the IT Act (computer-related offences) or Section 67 (obscene content)
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harvest, scrape, or collect data from the Platform without written permission
• Introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems
• Use the Platform to spam, phish, or conduct any unsolicited commercial activity

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these restrictions and to report violations to relevant authorities.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, AI outputs, guides, and software — is owned by or licensed to SEAES and is protected under the Copyright Act 1957 and applicable international intellectual property law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express written consent.

7. Third-Party University Links

The Platform links to and displays information about universities, scholarship bodies, and government portals operated by third parties. SEAES does not control these external sites, is not responsible for their content or accuracy, and makes no warranties regarding them. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. No Guarantee of Admission

FindCourse.io provides recommendations only. We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that:

• Any university recommended will offer you admission
• The information about any university (including fees, deadlines, or requirements) is accurate at the time you apply
• Any scholarship listed will be available or awarded to you

All admission decisions are made solely by the respective universities. You should always verify requirements directly with institutions before applying.

9. Fees & Payment

Core AI matching features on FindCourse.io are currently provided free of charge. If SEAES introduces paid services in future, fees, billing terms, and refund policies will be clearly stated before you commit to any purchase. All payments will be processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SEAES shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed INR 5,000 or the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim, whichever is lower. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. SEAES is entitled to the safe harbour protection under Section 79 of the IT Act 2000 as an intermediary.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SEAES, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act 1872, the IT Act 2000, and the DPDPA 2023. Subject to the dispute resolution clause below, any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. (Specific city to be confirmed with SEAES legal counsel.)

14. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at info@findcourse.io to attempt resolution in good faith.

If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 (as amended). The seat of arbitration shall be in India and proceedings shall be conducted in English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.

15. Amendments to Terms

SEAES reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email. Your continued use of the Platform after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
